Comments: The aim during this recording was to focus more on larger-scale change – lead-ins, transitions, and the like. A lot of lead-type synths were used, with tied timbral and velocity characteristics. On hearing this, Alex commented that it sounded like “Squarepusher meets Cylob meets something else I don’t like, like the Chemical Brothers,” which I think is both fair and very perceptive.
