Filename: latch_deviate_ds_May09
Duration: 2:30
Recorded: 24 May 2009
Instruments: 3 synths, drums
Comments: A slow-moving recording that uses time scaling to 7/8 plus some pattern restarting. Most activity is percussive. A Wacom Cintiq tablet was used for control.

Duration: 1:12
Recorded: 14 April 2009
Instruments: 2 synths, drums
Comments: This is an recording from last month which I had overlooked. Root note transpositions are used to effect a Squarepusher-style “Welcome to Europe” pastiche. Lemur was used as the control interface.

Filename: wah_deviate_s_Apr09
Duration: 1:22
Recorded: 14 May 2009
Instruments: 4 synths
Comments: A fairly complex melodic piece. Cutoff values are raised in the last half of this recording, resulting in sparser note output. Again, Lemur as control.
