Comments: The idea behind this was to do a fast recording – half an hour from startup to completion. Most of the time was spent finding/customising synths. Melodically it is quite bland, but the ongoing drum variations are effective. Pattern restarting is used, and is constant throughout.
A future recording will use the same instrument setup and BPM, aiming to show how ‘versions’ on a particular ‘template’ differ. Score and pitch selection won’t be recreated as these parameters are both indeterminate and vary from instance to instance (not by necessity, but by choice).
